Gender Equality Index

How is the Gender Equality Index calculated?

Each year, companies with more than 50 employees disclose their gender equality index to ensure pay equity.

In accordance with Decree no. 2019-15 of 8 January 2019, the index must be calculated on the basis of 4 to 5 indicators (depending on the size of the company).

It gives a score out of 100 points.

The 5 measurement indicators :
The gender pay gap: a score of 40
The gender gap in individual pay rises: note 15
Percentage of employees receiving a pay rise in the year following their return from maternity leave: Criterion not calculable
Parity among the 10 highest earners: Score obtained: 10

So a total of 65/85 brought down to 76/100.

In accordance with the Avenir law of 5 September 2018, which aims in particular to reduce pay gaps between women and men, Mercure Chantilly made this information public on 27.02.2024.
